#KOEIEN 😍 Now the days are “shorter” and the nights are longer due to the night #afkoeling in low winds and clear skies more and more often (ground) fog.
Fog is a weather phenomenon in which small droplets of water float in the air like an aerosol, which limits visibility.
In meteorology, fog is delimited and further subdivided as follows:
-Very dense fog: visibility less than 50 meters
-Dense fog: visibility less than 200 meters
-Fog: visibility less than 1000 meters
-Mist: visibility over 1000 meters

Fog can form by cooling of very moist air (below the dew point) or by mixing cold with warm moist air. The formation of #mist depends on many factors, such as air pollution, vegetation, relief and proximity to open water.
Fog can arise due to cooling around #zonsondergang or often until sunrise and first forms over a meadow probably near a ditch where the air is damp. The first fog is usually seen along the road and fog benches that push up the road initially dissolve there by air movement and heat from traffic. The fog-free “tunnel” can last for a while on some sections of the road, but in other places the fog banks hang directly over the road. Especially such a situation, with large differences in vision, is dangerous for traffic that only in the fog does not decrease speed.
