Creative with newsprint and wax crayon
Has the paper been read? You don't have to put that in the paper bin! Tear it into pieces... and make it a newspaper painting! Tear out only the pieces of text, so without pictures or images. Use a piece of solid cardboard, a piece of (lacquer) board or board as a surface and, to begin with, paste it full of pieces of newspaper. So without thinking!
A nice lowbudget craft tip, where you also do recycling!

You can color the pieces of paper that are left with different colors of wax crayons, e.g. with the soft Creall Silky wax crayons. From it you tear the parts, such as a tree trunk, pieces of tree, flowers, clouds and a sun. That never goes neat and perfect, but that whimsical makes it charming.
Once you have torn and pasted the colored pieces, you can still draw the lines with black wax crayon. That just makes it a little more talkable! The pieces of paper sticking out, just leave you comfortable. If you dare! And you got all the guts? Then hang your newspaper painting on the wall, like a real work of art!
