#joorsnovember De viering van deze dag dateert uit de Franse stad Evreux, in Normandië, met een toernooi van componisten, en vanaf 1695 begon de Muzikantendag regelmatig te worden gehouden in Edinburgh, Schotland en Duitsland, Spanje en Frankrijk.In Latijns-Amerika begon deze traditie in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilië, in het jaar 1920, en dan verspreid over de rest van Amerika, uiteraard aankomen naar Venezuela.

Venezuela heeft een breed scala aan gerenommeerde muzikanten over de hele wereld.. Daarnaast is er een ontluikende generatie die zich inzet om de naam van het land buiten te laten.. Een nationale maatstaf die op verschillende internationale podia schijnt, is Gustavo Dudamel, muzikant, componist en dirigent.
