#expertise Director, David Fincher
There are good directors that I admire for the dedication and work they do when directing a film or a series, in fact there are others I'd like to talk about. But today I want to talk about one of my favorites for his constancy in bringing good movies under his direction.
While David Fincher did not start his career as a film director, but as an animator for Industrial Light & Magic between 1980 and 1984 approximately, during which time he worked on such well-known films as The Return of the Jedi or Indiana Jones and the Cursed Temple, through these projects he began to gain experience. In 1986, he founded the production company Propaganda Films, in which he would direct high-budget videos for artists such as Madonna, George Michael, Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones.. (Artists of great talent and fame as we know them today).
He then moved to cinema successfully with the premiere of Alien 3, which is listed as one of the highest-budget films for a debut director. Although he had a criticism and low revenue, it helped him to create a good reputation for his talent for directing, although his filmography is not as big as that of other directors, but let's say that David highlights quality over quantity. In 1995 he directed 'Seven (Se7en) ', a film that, starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, would acquire a great worldwide success, especially because of that agonizing and intriguing ending that left us stunned by all those who saw it. From that moment on, a golden era would begin for Fincher who directs the hits 'The Game' and 'The Fight Club 'in 1997 and 1999. Base that cemented his reputation as an explorer of the dark side of our society and human miseries.
After directing various titles such as 'The Panic Room 'or' Zodiac ', Fincher's work is once again the subject of great worldwide recognition thanks to 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button)', a film he directs in 2008 and which marks him his first Oscar nomination. Just two years later, Fincher is once again a candidate for the statuette for 'The social network', a film for which he would receive great reviews.
Without adding the success of 'Lost (Gone Girl) ', a film that mixes that atmosphere of tension, mystery and intrigue.
His cinema contains great psychological tension, paranoia, recurrent nightmares and inner demons of the human psyche. He is a perfect connoisseur of the most hidden fears of human beings and in his cinema those fears are present in most frames.
Visually and narratively his style is impeccable, showing above all a masterful mastery in the staging. Without a doubt a whole teacher behind the scenes.
