Day 2: Preparing dinner with the family

Day two, preparing the Christmas menu

We do the menu together, each family in turn chooses a dish and takes care of its preparation, due to the influence with other countries we choose several typical dishes; example the nieces one with Mexican boyfriend, and the other with Brazilian boyfriend then we include their dishes .

In my case our influence is with Venezuela and even though I am Colombian I love the Christmas dish, so there is no lack of this one, my son makes the bread of Jamon, my sister-in-law the hallacas, the sounegris the chicken salad, others make the pasticho, I prepare the leg, also the chicken scrambled I love .

Let's not forget the lemon pie that my nephew makes, from Colombian food we include the potato puree, fritters, custard.
