On 28 May, the PVDA announced that it intends to submit a proposal for a chamber to prohibit entertainment venues above 100 DB from producing music. Of young people aged 12 to 25, 38% appear to have hearing problems, according to an online hearing test (elderly people with hearing impairment apparently do not matter). An online test is of course very reliable, and this is the Netherlands, so that's what we need to do. We need to come up with a new rule for that. In addition to the Db restriction, they also want to place a decibel meter everywhere, so that the youngsters can see for themselves how loud the music actually stands. Because of their hearing damage, they cannot hear this themselves anymore and will undoubtedly find this very interesting. The PVDA wants to avoid social and social problems. I think it's a very good idea from the PVDA and can't wait for this brilliant plan to be implemented. In fact, I would like to go much further than just restricting the number of DB that can be produced. It seems that people can no longer take care of themselves, if you can believe politics. First of all, let's start by entering plastic cups, or better still rubber cups instead of glasses. No more noise caused by glasses slipping out of the hands, no more glass shards in our summer shoes and no more glasses flying through the air during quarrels, or worse, used as a stab weapon. Next, it might be an idea to isolate the nightlife spots. Such that the sound from outside does not interfere with the visitors inside. The people who want to tell better have a drink outside. It is also very annoying for the DJ who plays music and tries to create atmosphere when people talk through it. If you want to tell me, you can do it outside. Among the smokers. You don't smoke? Well. Unfortunately. The Smoking Ban was there first so perhaps to propose the realisation of separate, well-insulated talking rooms? Heel shoes can stay at home from now on. This is due to noise pollution that they can cause if you have to go home again over the street at night after walking. It could wake people up (for example, the remaining 62% who have not yet suffered hearing damage). The ban on wearing sneakers and sports shoes is therefore lifted and encouraged. Partly because heel carriers, apart from the fact that they cause noise, are very susceptible to injury. So from now on, no more sick reports on Monday morning because of torn anklet after a night out on killer heels and too much alcohol. A request ban can then also be taken into account. An album that sounds nice on the iPod is not always suitable for playing in a nightlife venue. Questions are allowed. Once, your request doesn't come in, grab it, turn it for half an hour, then whining at the DJ certainly doesn't make sense. This only causes the DJ a lot of stress. And we don't want that. A stressed DJ. Lay down and dance on. It would also be pretty in line with this if the trains had quiet sections. Every day I can β€œenjoy” the music of these young people who undoubtedly belong to the group of 12-15 year olds with suffered hearing damage, at least I can deduce that from the fact that they have their music very loud. Speaking of harmful; would it really be so difficult to secure those things so they can't handle damaging noise levels? I think that not nightlife is the main cause of the increased percentage of young people with hearing impairment, but the volume that these young people use on their iPod day in day out when they travel, ride bicycles etc. But yes. Who am I? Someone with hearing impairment outside this important 38%. Honest is fair. Of course, it is inappropriate that people suffer damage due to others. But I myself have earplugs in when I go out in a place where I know the music gives me a beep afterwards, despite this I like to β€œfeel” the music. Lovely jeans that wrap around your legs due to the bass (could that cause skin irritation?). Isn't it just much simpler, cheap and more fun to provide these young people with free earbuds? Plug & Play Everyone decides whether and when they take a glass of alcohol, cigarette or joint. Let people decide for themselves when or not to expose their hearing to loud music.
