Decopatch Christmas bowl
From a bald boring bowl we make a nice decorative dish for Christmas! Did you know that's very simple? With the Decopatch technique you can make all kinds of objects more fun! Completely in your own style and taste. You're not familiar with the Decopatchen yet? Then we explain below, what exactly it is!

Decopatchen is the sticking of thin pieces of paper on a surface. It can be ordinary pieces of paper, such as newsprint, thin cover paper, folding leaves, magazine paper or the special Decopatch paper. The thinner the paper, the more beautiful it becomes. You glue the pieces of paper over each other with a brush and special glue, so they overlap each other. After you have pasted the paper, go over it with the same brush and glue. The paper is now between 2 layers of glue, giving it a nice (depth) effect.

Decopatchen can be on all kinds of surfaces: cardboard, papier-mache, wood, MDF, terracotta, roof tiles, glass, etc. The glue is also lacquer, so it is protected from dust and dirt. If you want to protect it extra, there are also different types of Decopatch lacquers. Glossy, matte, extra glossy and even varnish for outdoor use!
