Decopatch Insects

You (actually) don't want insects in your home. But insect decorations in your home are now the trend! Hip big and small insects adorn your home and there are all kinds of home decorations on sale, where the insect plays the lead role. Also from papier-mâché there are (giant) insects for sale, which you can pimp according to your own taste in the colors of your living room. We have decorated papier-mache shapes with Decopatch paper and gold paint. Nice kitsch, but funny! See how the decopatching and dyeing went below. Paint the insects with pieces of torn Decopatch paper. You glue those pieces over each other with special Decopatch glue, so that everything is covered. We didn't do the legs, because we wanted to paint them with gold paint. The Viva decor brand has beautiful and beautiful opaque Maya Gold paint, which we used for this. The wooden pen trays ( more info ) are also pasted with Decopatch paper.
