Dental visit for several impossible this year (2020)
The dentists are looking for ways to help patients, but the (hydrogen peroxide 1%) protection against COVID19 is not guaranteed for longer duration.
Since corona outbreak, dentists use hydrogen peroxide rinse when treating a dentition, however, there are no proven research results showing that hydrogen peroxide rinsing 1% longer is effective than 10 minutes. A higher percentage will cause deterioration.
De Bruin responds, “I'm not guessing much longer than ten minutes. From the nose and throat, the virus particles and bacteria just come back into the mouth.”.
Persons infected by COVID-19 and snotting patients, or with other symptoms are not taken into treatment, also again a logical choice and decision, but what about the patients with the above mentioned symptoms?
2020 then but not a year for dental visit?
