Digital drawing - self-portrait
Self-portrait on Paint pnt net
Previously, I showed my first digital drawing of a flamingo. Now I've ventured into a self-portrait. What do you think? Especially tips on the technique of digital drawing are very welcome.
In paint pnt just I opened a picture of myself, and 'over it' I started working in layers. First draw the lines with curves. Then I started filling by using the 'pipette' to remove the colors from the photo and fill in the drawing.
In a new layer, I started applying the shadows, and the background shadow in another layer. Finally, I merged everything into 1 layer before saving the image.
I like to do but would like to be able to work in even more detail.
Tips are welcome!

Better than what you describe, I can't (yet). May have @EnyaMona further tips for you (although she works with another program). Or @The Creative Bumblebea .

Very well drawn. I've never ventured into digital drawing. I'm sure it's a whole exercise before you've mastered it. But your results are already very good

seems really hard to me. I don't really recognize you when I compare it to your profile picture. Nevertheless, nicely done.

What a very handsome thing you did?! Pretty crazy actually working on your own portrait seems to me. Just because you look at yourself that way and it is of course quite a challenge to show yourself like that.!

Good of you how you are always busy setting yourself new challenges. I think it worked out very well, that self-portrait. How to look at you exactly at yourself. Technically, then. What digital heat is missing, but I don't have any tips for you how you should pick this up, Your eyes do radiate it
