Analog

We are going to start by drawing normally on paper, which I call “Analog” for this blog. Just drawing on paper is always an easy go-to. I also like to make a doodle from time to time on paper, which light in the neighborhood. But in order to really sit down for this and practice a lot of practice I don't really do NOW, but why? As you may already know I'm really a digital snoop, I make a lot on the computer and that's my job too. This used to be different, then I did nothing but draw on paper, in my writings and on my keys! EVERYTHING WAS FULL OF DOODLES AND DRAWING!! It also gives me a LOT more satisfaction to make a beautiful drawing on paper. You have to make it beautiful and it can be seen when you have to erase a lot and do it again. This is really something you need to learn! So there is a lot of time in making such a drawing and doing this well.

My girlfriend @EnyaMona asked me to draw something in her Bullit Journal the other day. That's why it also seemed like a nice challenge to just sign her! Of course I did this with a photo as an example. Despite the fact that I drew a lot before, this was still quite difficult! I did have to put her eyes over with pencil a number of times and changed her mouth and nose 10times! Eventually, when I was happy with what I had drawn, I started tracing this with black pen. And then I came to this end result, which I'm pretty proud of! But much better, which Enya is also happy with!

The thing about this is that I really had to sit for it, had to change a lot before I went over it with fixed pen. But this gave me much more satisfaction than when I sign digitally. And also I could really give this to her as a kind of “gift”. Now she has a nice self-portrait in her Bullit Journal.
