The Dik Voormekaar Show was a Dutch weekly radio show by Andrรฉ van Duin and Ferry de Groot. This comic program started in 1973 on Radio North Sea and became extremely popular in the seventies and eighties with the NCRV on #Hilversum 3. The quality of the images is poor because it was filmed with a camera.

Between 1977 and 1979, the characters were also shown in their own television series. Instead of actors, they used hand puppets to portray them. The first year the series was simply called the Dik Voormekaar Show. Children were also introduced, such as the daughter of #Harry #Nak : Lizje. For a second series, entitled Van hot to her with Dik Voormekaar, the hand puppets were replaced by life-size dolls, and the company left the television studio to make reports throughout the country. The series was received with mixed feelings, but everyone agreed that the dolls were less successful than they thought. In 2009 Van Duin and De Groot returned to the screen with a new series of the Dik Voormekaar Show, without dolls but simply behind a turntable.

The radio broadcasts remained popular until Andrรฉ van Duin and Ferry de Groot decided to stop in 1985. Fifteen years later, the Dik Voormekaar Show, which has become a legendary radio programme, returned for three seasons, now at the TROS.
