Disasters at the Valera gas station

A single pump is working in the Valera municipality.

This Monday in the @encontacto999 by @unica99 9 program, the Manager of Hidroandes Abraham Linares made telephone contact to inform the water situation in the Valera y Carvajal municipality.

Of the five pumps that must work at the Valera plant, only one is in operation “there was a fracture of the pump shaft, affecting the impeller and the bushings, today they are being sent for repair in Barquisimeto, we spoke with Water Minister Evelin Vásquez and she is giving us support”.

Linares said that there is no new equipment for pumping care, because its costs are very high: “we hope that by this week better pumping will be offered, from today to Tuesday we expect the delivery of one, in order to solve. We are already directing water support with tankers for communities such as La Floresta, Plaza Miranda, Puente Cano, among others that are going to be assisted”.

As for the municipality, Carvajal said, “a bomb is also being sent to repair, but on Sunday when we were in the municipality, we detected that there is a sabotage where the bombs are and we are already solving that”.

“We are making every effort to stabilize the pumping system from this week to the next. We ask people for peace of mind and patience, but we are making efforts to provide answers”.
