DIY Bath Salts Making

On rainy days, the kids love to enjoy #creatively to be busy. Recently, on a rainy afternoon, we made bath salts ourselves.

Making #badzout is actually very easy. You only need 3 ingredients and optionally a fourth. We made bath salts with four ingredients.

What do you need:

Epsom Salt;
Sea Salt (or pink Himalayan salt, this gives a smoother effect due to the color);
Baking Soda or Sodium Bicarbonate;
Optional: a few drops of essential oil;
Tray (s) for mixing;
Jar or similar to put in the bath salts.
How to make it:

It can hardly be easy. You can put the following together in a tray.

3/4 cup of Epsom Salt;
1/2 cup Sea Salt or the pink Himalayan Salt;
1/4 cup Baking Soda/Sodium Bicarbonate
Then you mix that together in a container. And ready is your bath salts. For the scent, you can use a few drops of essential oil. I bought drops with names “Joy” and “Fresh Energy”. One has a warming scent with vanilla, almond oil and tonko beans and the other has an invigorating scent with mint and eucalyptus.

We filled the tubes I bought with this homemade bath oil. Stickers made on it and ready is your super cute self made #gift . The part we have left, we put in small jars. That too looks super nice to give away, or to get of course!
