DIY Garden Guide

To please our garden for next summer, because well... there will be a lot of days to find. I ordered at Puck & Pol a nice #DIY #tuinwegwijzer . In this blog you can see what I received and what I made of it.

So I ordered a DIY craft package from Puck and Pol. I got five boards of different heights (two of those boards had an arrow). Here you also choose five different colors of paint. I chose the blue and green hues. Also included is a brush, rope, stalls and various accessories. There is also a clear manual on how to assemble the garden signpost. With your order you can optionally purchase a white or black marker. In short, a full package.

You start by painting the shelves (but you can also leave a shelf as it is supplied, the natural look if you want). I chose to color all the shelves. After that, you will start working with the texts or drawings you want on it. I did this with the white posca paint marker. At Pinterst you will find a lot of inspiration for your own signpost. I also looked there and so I came to the words I wanted on the boards.

After the boards are ready you can attach them to the rope. You do this with the supplied stalls. If you want you can first add the rope (I did at the top).

After the garden signpost is assembled, you only have to find a nice place to hang it.

If your creation hangs where it hangs in the wind and rain, it is wise to treat your shelves with varnish. You do this before you put it together. This ensures that it can withstand water better.

I thought it was super fun to make! And get from everyone who comes also nice comments about the garden signpost.
