DIY Musical Instrument Bubble Wreath

It was a bit of searching what this rhythmic instrument is actually called. You'd say it's a bubble wreath, but in this case it's probably going to be called a cap wreath.! You hold it with your hand and shake it to the rhythm of the music. So very simple, but great fun for kids to make music together!
And below you can see step-by-step how to craft that bubble wreath yourself, with a solid empty roll of aluminium foil or cling foil, tape, iron wire and so on. metal beer cups! It's not difficult, and if you don't tighten the caps (bottle caps) too tight, you can make quite fun rhythmic sounds with it.!
Supplies: empty cardboard roll, tape, iron wire, 12 beer cups, 16 beads (e.g. iron beads) stanley knife, awl, wood block as surface, cutters and tip pliers. Optional: 2 extra bells.
We used Collall Duc Tape, which is available for sale in narrow and wide, and in a variety of colours. the colours we chose are retrospective of the colours of the German flag! But, of course, you can use your favorite colors. Or you use different tape or washitape, with nice prints on it for example!
