The Church believes so. In the Creed we say that God is the creator of the visible and invisible universe. In this invisible universe are the angels that Scripture speaks to us about, of whom Christ speaks to us, as well as the entire tradition of the Church.


They are creatures, non-corporeal spiritual beings, says the Catechism, who do not have the same mode of existence as us.
