Do you also have a real lord as a neighbor, like me? I live in Bornem with my family. A rural municipality in the province of Antwerp, in the green region of Klein Brabant.
And really, we have a real lord of the castle as our neighbor, Count Saint-Marnix de Aldegonde. He lives in the Marnix de Saint-Aldegonde Castle of the same name, which he is fully resurrecting to its former glory.
The castle was built by the Spanish nobleman don Pedro Coloma and belonged to William of Orange's right hand: Lord of Saint Aldegonde Filip de Marnix.
