In the 60s and 70s, the girls used to wear these cute dresses with smockwork incorporated into them..
Did you also have a dress in the past, or for the Spaniards among us you children or grandchildren wear this.
I know that in Spain a lot of dresses like this are made, as we used to do here.
What is smockwork?
Smocking is a technique when creating clothes. Smocking clothes often occurs in children's clothing. When clothes are smocked, this means that the clothes are pleated/wrinkled and secured by embroidery. Also, the fabric becomes elastic.

I also love this style! I once made a dress with a simple smoking technique. I still have it, one of my better works:)
