A kidney stone, right?

The Corona lock down started for me with inflammation of my jaw. Still, I didn't feel quite well. Again I had pain in my flanks and it seemed like I had a cystitis again. That wouldn't be possible, would it? After all, I was once again on a heavy antibiotic course, albeit for inflammation in my jaw, but still?

Ultimately in the evening the pain was too unbearable and therefore only a trip to the general practitioner for a check. After a brief investigation, this one couldn't find anything. It was thought that I might produce too much acid, so I got a drink to slow down the acid taste and an extra painkiller and that was done.

The next day, however, with the shower I suddenly had a lot of pain. I actually lost a little pebble. Of course, direct contact with the general practitioner. They just couldn't do anything at the time, except send in the pebble for control. Furthermore, it was waiting to see if the pain would go down. Now that I had peed out the pebble, the pain should go down.

Only the pain did not subside, it remained intensely present. The doctors were therefore puzzled. That's why I got all the possible investigations that could be invented. It started with an ultrasound, there was nothing on this. Then I got internal examination, both urological and gynecological, everything turned out to be very clean. Finally I got a CT scan, on which there was still a stone to see on the right. This one was encapsulated in the renal cortex and could possibly be the cause of the persistent pains.
