Doctor... explain - Part 19
Start with the chemo
Very soon I had a conversation with the medical oncologist to discuss how and what about the chemotreatments. I was already allowed to start this on December 1st. Now all of a sudden it all went very fast.
In the conversation with the medical oncologist, the last points were discussed before I actually started treatment. Many side effects that might occur, hair loss and much more. The medication against the nausea was also discussed.
I got about a whole pharmacy of medication, but everything for charity, right?
December 1, first cure
Soon followed my first cure. What a tragedy to prick the I.V. again. As usual, it's hard to find a good vessel to prick an infusion. Quite sucks of course, because the next nine weeks an infusion should be pricked every week. I saw it right now. For today we could at least start.
