Bullying is — as I wrote before — an age-old problem. It's a problem with a long history. But it is (I'm afraid) also a net solvable problem; a problem of the future.

Over the years, I have written several blogs (and stories) around the theme of bullying . Today I add another one.

Is bullying history for you?

Many people also suffer from the (psychological) consequences of being bullied in the past. Even death wishes and suicide attempts unfortunately occur. You can say that bullying is history for some. After all, it occurred in their younger years; at school, for example.

But that does not mean that it is actually history on an individual basis. It may have happened in the past, but it works out in the present. And will even continue to work in the future, if the tide is not turned.

On another (more general) side, you may wonder if bullying will ever become history. There are many initiatives today to discuss the topic of 'bullying' and to counter it on the other hand. The question is whether “Stop Bullying” stands a reasonable chance of achieving the biggest intended goal.
