How strong is cardboard?
Cardboard has the most important feature that it is light but also strong. In a good structure, cardboard is just as strong as wood.
How durable is cardboard?
According to the consumer, sustainable packaging is a packaging that is reused. And cardboard excels in it. Of all the cardboard used in the Netherlands, no less than 95% * is reused or recycled. And more than 80% * of the paper and cardboard made in the Netherlands consists of waste paper.
