Dogs and cat, time to get fixed
Helping rescues is great,
but it is important to stop reproduction. Although our focus is on helping horses we can not ignore to other animals who are in need. So we got a lot of dogs and cats living with us.
We’ve 4 dogs off to the vets to either be neutered or have surgery or in the case of Tarla both!
I’ve been worried about which vets they go to as not all vets in Egypt are good ones sadly
But there’s now a proper small animal clinic close by with 4 fully qualified vets that has come highly recommended by a number of my contacts in Egypt. They have good facilities and it’s kept very clean. They are big into TNR
Unlike some places they do post operation care. So the dogs will get to stay there for a few days to recover.
Neutering is going to cost 800LE per dog - both males and females.
800Le is currently around £40/$55USD/€47 Euros
I’ve just found out the price includes anti Rabies vaccination too!
So yesterday Ash Ash, Mikey, Bonnie, Huggy Bear and Cher all returned home safely to fluffyland

How good to see this type of action and that they still feel that empathy for animals that in the end have the same right to life
very nice that they could be helped so well in that new clinic. Puss still looks with terrible eyes, but that will be fine. They look good!!
