Drawing Calligram Turtle
Drawing calligram with children is always fun. The result is always fun, failure can almost not, and no calligram becomes the same, because you can do so much with it. Some people also write it as Calligram. At a calligram write (or draw) texts in a figure. Often these are the words that have to do with the form. Or the words/phrases that come to mind when you see the figure.
- Draw a figure with pencil or pull it over from a coloring sheet.
- Draw some lines inside the figure first to write smaller texts
- You could sketch some more texts that come true
- Write words or phrases in the figure with a fineliner
- You can combine the thicknesses of the pen, or use colored markers or fineliners.
- Everything is allowed and everything is possible, as long as the figure/shape remains visible.
- Erase the pencil lines
- Stick the whole piece on a colored cardboard, or cut out and stick on a colored base.
Tip: Always nice to make something like that, with matching shape, for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthday, Christmas card or any other occasion.
Below you see the coloring sheet, which I put under my white leaf, and traced with pencil. You can save and print the coloring page, if you want. But you can also make a squirrel, or a giraffe, an elephant, a cat, a house, a hand, a guitar, a cactus, a unicorn, a tennis racket, a cigar, a heart, a... A... A... .. :)
