DROUD: what is that?
#DROOGTE : 😍 Tonight I took the picture below of the meadows at the #Reest behind the hospital in Meppel. To my great surprise I saw whole pastures again very wet and an abundance of puddles. The storks also showed themselves again: food plenty now. I live in a city that gets the water supplied from the whole of Drenthe. Meppel lies in a (soup) bowl in ZW-Drenthe and the #rivieren that end in Meppel include De Reest (see photo). Wold AA, Drentsche Hoofdvaart. The difference in height between Assen (capital of Drenthe) and #Meppel is 45 meters downstream!
