Dwingelderveld, an evening walk.
Kuna festival, canceled again!
What did I look forward to, at last the Kuna festival would continue. So soon I went to find a home for those four days. And I ended up on a hikers' cabin at Boscamping near Appelscha just like last year. But unfortunately, it couldn't go on again. And the organization has ultimately decided that they won't be hosting a multi-day festival either. It's a pity for all those people who have been so busy. As a consolation, participants were invited to visit the Taribush Kamp de Marke site, to have a drink and still meet some people.

Meeting with a fellow Yoorsie!
Meanwhile, I also had contact with Gertiena who knows the Dwingelderveld, her backyard, on her thumb. And we agreed that we would go for a walk together the night we arrived.
Very nice to finally meet in person. And she showed us very nice little paths near Camp de Marke, which we would normally never dare to take, because we always get lost.

She showed us beautiful fens, where the riverside dragonflies look like laying eggs in the water.
And by chance we saw this sand bee digging her nest.

After the walk we are welcomed at Kamp de Marke.
There are all benches set up where we talked and had some drinks.

It was also an adventure to go to the toilet there.

It was a very nice evening and who knows we can take another walk together.
