If you like movies where humanity has reached its breaking point and all that remains is to survive, you will love Disomnia.

When a global event deprives humans of the ability to sleep, a former soldier fights to save her family while chaos takes over the world and her mind.

Enthralling, enigmatic and moving, which keeps you alert to the twists and actions of the characters, it is one of the best films I have had the opportunity to see this year.

Awake (Dissomnia) opens up the idea of chaos, the end of the world, despair and “reboot” in a disturbing way; although today, it is a topic that could easily be considered trite, but one that tackles beautifully.

Suspense, fear, restlessness, open ending and relief give this film a special touch, which can confuse viewers, accustomed to simple and explicit plots
