We all know the new trend of the e-cigarette.

Yet it's hard to believe that these might be more unhealthier than initially thought.

A recent study found that they contain volatile organic compounds, acetone, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, benzopyrene, silicate and various metal particles.


The German Cancer Research Centre Heidelberg therefore calls the e-cigarette 'an uncontrolled experiment with the consumer'.


Electronic cigarettes are non-emission free and they contain volatile organic compounds, including propylene glycol, flavors and nicotine, and are emitted as spray or indoor aerosol.
