A step back, the new progress

No more bigger, faster, worldwide, more, cheaper, easier. No more everything for man, actually a little back to the back, back in your loft!

I read an article where very carefully some insights are put forward that clearly articulate what I have been naming in a small circle. We want too many questions from the world, from nature. More and more we want to occupy more space as humanity, use more substances from nature. Get more products from other countries, other continents. Producing more and more of what we can export and get products from other countries because it can be produced cheaper there. And we travel everywhere, on planes, because we can. These are all wonderful developments, that is what man wants, that is how the economy has developed. We are no longer self-sufficient as a people, as a region, as a country, but we need the world to have what we want.

This also takes up more and more space of nature. We are getting closer and closer to nature reserves that live in their own balance, which have developed their own forces for the situation that prevails there, the climate, the other animals, plants, but also germs and viruses for example. There is a natural resistance because there is a balance. If we go through this, we disrupt the balance in nature, we disrupt natural resistance, and so it can happen that as humanity we cause that disturbance and take the problems back into our world.

Is that nature's fault? Is it the bats that cause a pandemic among the human population? My opinion is “No.” As a human being, we disrupt the balance that nature will always strive for. We break that because we think we need more space, because we want to develop further in technology, in food production, and globalisation.

Show more

@pitamaria2000 I think we could and should see this as a sign! The nature is so powerful, it will take his space as soon there is an possibility. Like now, with the lockdown, the wild animals take (there own?) place! Thanks for your reaction Pitamaria!
