In my house there's a Christmas tree from which we make spaghetti sauce and delicious soup. It is actually a mistake, which in the end fell very well.
Let me start at the beginning...
In February I am always busy with pre-sowing: tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers... but also sunflower seeds disappear in small pots that are then carefully grown into plants. Those plants eventually move out and end up in open ground.
Somehow a few peppers have ended up in the sunflowers. When it was time to plant out, I found that there were a few sunflower plants a bit 'different' than the rest, but I had also planted different species. I closed those 'other' sunflowers to plant in a large pot, assuming it was the small species.
