Great apes, like gorillas, have certain eating habits . A special menu too, say. That's common knowledge.
This aspect is also addressed in the ongoing research on Jane and Gaby. They receive, the babysitters tell them, only food that the gorillas eat for a few days. So they have to do it with foliated branches and some fruit.

we started like this, assume we don't return to that.
I've had a chance to feed a monkey, they love mangoes and of course bananas or cambures. What we call them in Venezuela.
Very interesting your post those beautiful animals must eat branches and fruits is what is in the jungle I do not think they are carnivorous

I have seen them in documentaries eat certain branches and fruits, that I know they are not carnivorous, although suddenly necessity may lead them to it
should be on a diet, hey ! zero treats or junk food, surely if they tried it they would love it
Gorillas are interesting animals and they learn fast. For this reason they are used almost as humans.

I prefer not to have a branch with leaves on my plate either. Fruit is ok. Fortunately, humanity is not extinction but we make it very difficult for ourselves to live (over).
Man an extinct species? I don't think so. The overpopulation is just the big problem that everyone is silent about. For Earth, we are the harmful virus that needs to be thinned out.
