Ed Sheeran reveals he will stop making music as soon as he starts a family.
Ed Sheeran has previously spoken about wanting children by the time he turns 30 with his Cherry Seaborn, which he secretly proposed last year. But his quest to become a father can cause heartbreaking wounds among his legions of fans after promising to give up his music career as soon as his family begins to expand. Sticking to his own timeline, the 26-year-old has only four more years of lyrical successes before trading everything in for parenthood.
Ed Sheeran:
“My ambition goes to zero once I have kids. I'm going to be like that, I don't care anymore because I have a different life to take care of. It's completely understandable because you have children and your ambition shifts to think and say, 'I want to be a good dad'. I think the wheels should be moving by the time I'm 30. But it's not really up to me. It's a two-way street. It has to be up to the partner too.”
