Eggplant with tomato and cheese from the oven

Many people know the eggplant of Greek cuisine. And maybe from Indian cuisine too. There they are also often used, but the small species. They use a white variant there - of which I don't have a picture by the way. They're the size of a goose egg.
I regularly use eggplant myself and I also look for other applications than in moussaka or casserole. This time I went looking for an appetizer and I did. You can also eat it as a snack dish, or as a lunch dish.
