Empty toilet rolls become funny owls (incl. templates)
The large storage box for my collected empty toilet rolls, was full. I save the cardboard rolls, because youmany fun crafts can make it. Now the moment had come when nothing could be reached. So I have mymarkers and made these cheerful owls from the rolls. Once you're busy, you'll soon have a wholeowl family.
First, press the top on two sides so that2 earphonesemerged. You do this by first folding one earpiece and the other is created by itself. Then draw your owl on the cardboard with black marker. Then color with a felt-tip pen or marker withthick tip. I bought the set of 10 (double tip markers) from Avec at Kruidvat, but there are probably other fine markers available somewhere else.
If you find it difficult to draw directly on a roll, create a template first. Draw the size of the roll on paper and draw an owl on it. Most rolls are just 9,5cm and 13cm all around. Then make the pattern 14 cm long, so you can overlap and stick it from behind.
Do you want ready-made owls? You can do that too! Below you will find 8 templates. Then print them out from below, color in and paste around your empty toilet roll.
Tip: Do you have empty kitchen rolls? Cut them in half and you will have 2 slightly longer toilet rolls:)
