I accept the challenge of @ezachavez on YOORS, how does your family celebrate christmas.

By excellence, Christmas is the most important and wonderful time of families in the world, even if for some it is melancholy, for those who have left, so they are far away, but despite that, in my family we always seek to get together and plan our Christmas, filling ourselves with motivation and joy for these holidays.

The first thing we do is get together, evaluating what we are going to do at Christmas: the ornament of the house, the placement of the Christmas tree, the manger, the good night and new year dinners, where the hallacas, salad, ham bread, the pernil, we prepare it in different ways, whether stuffed, in slices and black roast. Also for dessert and drinks, where milky sweet, sweet of pineapple and paneton and punch cream or wine are typical. Usually this meeting is in the maternal home, or in its effects in some of the siblings house. We distribute this preparation by assigning a meal to each person, or it is done in the morning at someone's house participating everyone, which is very emotional to tell jokes and anecdotes among the family, and then everyone is going to get ready and get beautiful for the Christmas dinner.

The placement of the manger and tree is done together by music, putting each one their creativity in a sharing of jokes, Christmas and drinking a drink.

We also agree to exchange gifts, making early papers so that everyone chooses randomly and without saying anything, who will be their secret friend for Christmas night, no matter if it is candy or something else, the important thing is to share.

That day in the evening we had dinner giving thanks, making the corresponding wishes, dancing later, throwing the famous rockets. Finally we made the exchange, choosing a fun game, which we take turns by year such as: holy thief, guess the character, others. Receiving the twelve hugging us, to wish us with joy a merry christmas among family and friends who visit us.

At the end of the year party, depending on availability, or mutual agreement, we make a dinner before twelve, where we also work as on the 24th, but including here the simplest dinner, with our own drinks and grapes at the end of the year to make new year's wishes. When the twelve bells ring, with laughter, tears and rockets we embrace each other, giving each other the embrace of the new year that begins, calling by video call to those who could not be there, sharing with them joys of receiving the new year, asking God to be able to be together again, wishing the best for all our families and those of the whole world.
