U.S.A. or U.S. is a country in North America which comprises 50 states and a federal capital territory.

All countries went through captivity by some other countries except those who held other countries captive. Ambiguous? I mean 'Only those who held countries captive didn't go through captivity.'

America, as it has technologically improved, was also held captive. America was held captive by British colonies. Freedom is not an easy thing to get, if one must get it; It's until one's violent and tired of being held captive through all hands on deck.

The Americans thirst for freedom from captivity which the British did not agree to, led to the American Revolutionary War. That was between 1775 and 1783 - 8 years! After which the country had independence. That's exactly when we can say America was created. 1783. Let's know more about the history of America! The U.S. which can also be called U.S.A. or America was called 'The United Colonies' before the Continental Congress later declared a new name: 'United States of America.' That was on September 9, 1776.

U.S. & America

The U.S. was introduced when the American colonies fought hard for independence with the British who held them captive. The first state in U.S. to be formed is Delaware. That was on the 7th day of December, 1787.

America was founded in 1776, but was created (gained independence) in 1783. Habe you ever heard of 1619 project? It's a project that seeks to clarify the issue about when America became a reality. But later, Professor Leslie Harris made known what was unclear about slavery in American history back then.  In contrast, Professor John McWhorter came up with 1776Unites campaign and it was finally declared that 1776 is the real date America was founded.
