Good for Health, Good for You

I like to make food photos. So also of this green pepper.
If you cut it open the way I did in the picture, you can see the structure of the seeds beautifully.
It's almost a stamp.
The green pepper is actually unripe and has a bitter taste with a herbaceous undertone. I don't choose him as often as I prepare a meal. Only on the pizza, actually.
The green pepper contains more fiber and vitamin K than the other color types, but it does contain the least vitamins and nutrients if you compare it to the red, yellow and orange peppers.
Why is that?
The reason is that the green pepper is harvested first.

Paprika know

The pepper is family of the pepper

Yes, that is true! When we look at the colours and the skin of peppers and pepper, you do not see much difference in colour, stem and structure. I put three next to each other so you can see how much they actually look alike.

Family rules

Pizza slice

Like I said, I always use the peppers on a freshly made pizza. I usually make a Quattro Stagioni.
On this pizza I use the red, green and yellow peppers, mushrooms, red onion, cheese, mushrooms and Italian herbs. See below the food photos of a few ingredients and of course the pizza slice.
If you want to make this pizza too, read on for the recipe!

Madeleine Bosch

What do you need for 4 people:

4 ready-made pizza bases
2 red onions
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 container of mushrooms
1 packet of salami (you can also eat this delicious pizza without meat)
1 pack of ham (you can also eat this delicious pizza without meat)
2 sachets of grated pizza cheese (mozzarella)
Italian herbs
bag of mixed leaf lettuce

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes to the degrees indicated on the packaging of the pizza bases.
This differs by type of oven.
Meanwhile, wash and cut the vegetables into pieces.
Spread the ham and salami over the pizzas and spread the grated cheese on top.
Fill the pizzas with the different vegetables and add some spices.
Place the pizza on the grate in the middle of the oven and bake the pizza until cooked (8 to 10 minutes per pizza)
Remove the pizza from the oven and cut into pieces.
Divide the lettuce over the pizza points for an extra fresh touch.

Eat tasty!
