RECIPE: Shakshuka

Highly recommended if you like oriental dishes and enjoy easy and simple because it is a one-pellet dish.


Egg - 3 pieces

Tomato cubes - 200 grams

Red pepper - half

Onion - half

Garlic - half clove

Cayenne pepper - half teaspoon

Cumin seeds, ground - half teaspoon

Paprika powder - half teaspoon

Chili powder - half teaspoon

Pepper - 1 pinch

Salt - 1 pinch

Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Flat parsley fresh - to your liking

Method of preparation:

Peel and chop the onion and chop the garlic.

Wash the pepper and cut it into cubes.

Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan or snack pan and fry the onion briefly over medium heat.

Add the paprika and garlic and fry for a few minutes.

Add the tomato cubes and all the spices, reduce the heat and simmer for a while.

Make three dimples in the tomato sauce and gently break the eggs above it.

In about 6 minutes, leave with the lid on the pan over low heat, the eggs solidify.

Garnish the shakshuka if necessary with finely chopped fresh parsley.

Delicious with a fresh salad or bread.
