Also today there is a walk on the program. We look for the pleasant coolness of the woods in the area of Saoû.
Saoû is a bustling village. Many art forms are practiced here, from pottery to making hats. It consists of a number of nice streets and squares.
The walk starts over the bridge opposite this building. You see the girls' school on the left, the town hall in the middle and the boys' school on the right.
The entire circular walk, about 6 km, is marked with yellow stripes on trees and rocks.
We walk partly in the shade of the trees, but occasionally you have beautiful views of the surroundings.
The pieces where we have to walk in the sun are pieces where we again walk between high cliffs. The wind blows a little louder, so that makes up for a lot.
And a bright mountain river provides some cooling in between.
