I have been holding off on revealing this information for a few months because I didn't really believe the proof I witnessed with my own eyes.  It didn't even matter if there were two eggs maybe a dozen, if they were fresh or weeks old, if they were white or brown eggs. Every time, the shells readily came off, producing a flawless and spotless hard-boiled egg.

There are numerous descriptions regarding why this holds true. Some claim that, like steaming eggs, the pressure cooker drives steam into the eggshell during cooking, causing it to split from the white. It's more about the quick temperature shift within the enclosed pot, according to Alton Brown's idea.

Whichever the case may be, it is effective! The only approach I've discovered that consistently works for me is to cook hard-cooked eggs inside a pressure cooker.


In the Instant Pot, how to Cook Eggs

My eggs were boiled in the Slow Cooker using the classic "5-5-5" method for hard-boiled eggs. Put your eggs in a crockpot and place them in your pressure cooker with a cup or two of water. The whites are solid but soft at four minutes, and the yolk is boiled throughout but it’s still creamy at 5 minutes; the white are stretchy at five minutes, and the yolk is a bit gritty.
