Sannie's Sambal Goreng Kentang Kering

Necessities:

1 bag (150 gram) mini fries sticks natural

2 tablespoons oil (peanut oil or sunflower)

1½ tablespoon ketjap medja (food processor or hand blender)

1 small onion (food processor or hand blender)

2 cloves of garlic (food processor or hand blender)

pinch of salt (food processor or hand blender)

1 teaspoon paprika (food processor or hand blender)

1 tsp laos (food processor or hand blender)

1 tsp tamarind paste (food processor or hand blender)

1 tsp trassi paste (food processor or hand blender)

½ tablespoon sambal oelek (food processor or hand blender)

3 tablespoons Greensweet Stevia Brown (or brown sugar)

3 tablespoons fried onions (made small, I like the Surinamese best)

Method of preparation:

Preheat oven to 150 degrees.

In the food processor (or with the hand blender), make a boemboe of the ingredients, stating that it must be in the food processor.

In the oil, sauté the boemboe for a few minutes, stirring over medium heat. (It really shouldn't burn because then you can taste a burning taste!)

Add the Greensweet Stevia Brown (or brown sugar) and stir fry well.

Add the fries and keep around for a minute or 2, make sure all the fries are covered.

Spread the fries over a baking sheet with parchment paper underneath and place in the middle of the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Let the fries cool down, loosen them with your hands a little once in a while while cooling.

Then put the fries in a container and add the fried onions and mix well.

They stay nice and crunchy and not sticky.

Bon aptit!
