Enjoy the alpaca baby
As promised, some more image material of baby alpaca Evita.
Her mother Amber is also brown in color and is 4 years old.
Amber has joined the current “own” group as an orphan foal that lives at AlpacasZeelandia in Aagtekerke in Zeeland.
She was then adopted by Dana, the white alpaca that you also see on the images.
Evita was born neatly during the day and with these images 9 days old. Milk production still had to get started and that's why she also got the bottle. The temperature is not so high and that's why she's wearing a jacket. You can also see a heat lamp hanging in the stable.
What I think is very special is how uninhibited she meets everything and everyone. Her mom is of course very well socialized and Mara Houmes, the owner of the alpacas, indicated that she was born between the people and saved that image right away.
