#planten #eubotrysracemosa #natuur #natuurfotografie #bloemen #swampdoghobble In our garden there is a separate plant. When we bought our house, this was already there.
I never noticed him, because he was standing a little on the back of a strip, and all you saw was green leaves, until all of a sudden there were little chalice-like flowers hanging on twigs. It initially reminded me of a lily of valley-like flower, but it's not.
I went on the Internet to find out what kind of plant was in my garden.
It is the Eubotrys racemosa and the funny thing is that he has even more funny names, namely fetterbush, swamp doghobble (that's what I like most! ) and swamp sweetbells. Ours is about 1 meter high, but it can grow up to 4 meters high.
This plant is found in the eastern half of the United States, along the coastal region of Massaschusetts, Florida to Texas.
This plant loves a sunny place.
