Fall of the Berlin Wall

On November 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall fell, a wall that should never have been erected because apart from dividing a country it divided a world by ideological difference that causes wars and conflicts.
The Berlin Wall divided the city and its population for almost three decades. It was a concrete structure 120 kilometers long and about 3 meters high. The wall was strengthened over the years to improve surveillance and prevent leaks from the East Side (GDR).

The social pressure and demands of the Berliners succeeded in bringing down the wall on the night of 9-10 November 1989. A year later the reunification of Germany became official
Fortunately, this wall was knocked down, but in the world we still have too many ideological and religious walls that we must tear down
