Father’s Day

On this day, let us take our time to appreciate our hardworking, caring and loving Fathers.
I know of a lot of families where the father lives waywardly, thereby, destroying the whole family, and I am from one as such.
I have more than four close friends that their fathers are physically alive, but when it comes to taking care of the family, they’re dead to that. A lot of marriages have been destroyed, and the children have lost their ways because of this, mothers have become single parents, and life has become harder for them.
Their fathers get drunk, go out with other women, refuse to participate in family matters, spend lavishly and stupidly, care less about the children and their future, beat up their wife, and do many other horrible things to the family they’re supposed to Head.
Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
If you have a Father that is truly obeying the Word of God by carrying out his responsibilities as the Head of the family, you need to thank God for that, and praise that father because many do not have what you have.
To all the responsible family Heads and single parents out there, I say Happy Father’s Day!
