Fennel with insufficient breastfeeding
Fennel can be found all over Europe. The fruit of the fennel plant is ovoid, ribbed and it has a double cap. The cap is first blue-green, and then becomes greenish brown during the rhyming process. The plant has fine foliage, and the seeds smell and taste like anise. The fruit of the plant is used against all kinds of physical complaints, e.g. stomach pain and abdominal pain.

The fruit of the fennel plant contains a volatile oil, which has an antispasmodic effect. Therefore, fennel can be used for stomach and intestinal cramps, if you eat too quickly or too spicy. Do you have bloating, or do you suffer from flatulence? Then, too, fennel is a godsend. Fennel ensures that intestinal fermentation and intestinal gases are prevented.

Do you give breast milk, but can milk production be stimulated? Fennel also helps with insufficient breastfeeding. Handy to know, right?
