Fibromyalgia, The Ignored Autoimmune Disease
My daughter has fibromyalgia, which is an autoimmune disease that many doctors in Australia don't know much about. I kept taking her to the doctor and asking for tests, as I knew something was wrong. She experiences musculoskeletal pain, memory issues and is often exhausted, but because we kept trying to figure out what was wrong, she has strategies in place to deal with it now.
