On this day, we didn't have a long distance to travel, so we decided to drive a detour.

If you've followed my travel reports a bit, you know that means we're taking a nice road.

In this case, the road, which leads, among other things, to Landmannalaugar, but we would not reach that, because there are a number of large river crossings, and our rental car is not suitable for that.

We drove out of Potato Storage, hoping to come back again, and got some nice views of the glacier:

It's amazing how big this glacier is, you can drive for hours and keep seeing it!
