Every village, no matter how small, has one or more churches, usually with the corresponding graveyard.
The churches on Iceland are usually simply built, yet they endure the years, and although they don't always look equally beautiful, they serve, and that's what matters.
During our search for the white tailed eagle we drove down a gravel road (road number 590), when we came across a sign towards the Dagverdarnes Church.
